No Refunds; Time-Window Purchase
When you purchase an ad placement, you are purchasing an exclusive time window on the selected surface(s) and town(s) — not a guaranteed number of days your ad will display. Payment is due in full at checkout and is non-refundable, including if your submitted creative is rejected during review, if you fail to submit replacement creative before your window ends, or if you cancel after payment. It is your responsibility to submit creative that meets our content guidelines with enough time remaining in your window for review and, if needed, resubmission.
Creative Review
Every ad is reviewed before it goes live — we never auto-publish. Reviews are typically completed within one business day (9:00 AM–5:00 PM ET, Monday–Friday). If your creative is rejected, we’ll tell you why and you may resubmit at no additional cost. Your booked window does not extend to accommodate review or resubmission time.
Exclusivity
One advertiser owns a booked slot exclusively for its full duration — there is no rotation and no header bidding. Pricing is computed automatically at the time of booking based on the surface, town scope, duration, and current booking pressure, and locks in at checkout; it does not change based on demand after your purchase.
Visibility
Ads are shown only to TownBrief’s free-tier readers. Paid subscribers never see ads. This means impression volume for any given placement depends on how many free-tier readers view the relevant pages during your window — TownBrief does not guarantee a minimum number of impressions.
Content Standards
All creative must comply with our content guidelines. TownBrief may reject or remove any creative that violates these guidelines at any time, without refund.
